Thanks for the email Jason,

Sorry for the delay in responding to your email. I've been out of town for a few days. I was in Bravo Company 68/69. When it comes to names, I'm really bad with names. So I conducted an internet search minutes ago.

I came up with William Edward Dallmann from 1st Recon Battalion who passed away on 13th of June 1982 at the age of 32 from Houston, Texas. If that was your father I am so sorry to find out that he passed away. Please email me back to confirm if that was your father or not. I'll will post your message on the 1st Recon Battalion Association website as soon as possible and I will start a web page for William Edward Dallmann, one of our brothers.

I'll also look through some old Patrol reports to see if I served with your father.

Thank you for your response.
Yes William Edward Dallmann is my father. If you have access to patrol reports. Maybe you can use the information from his Bronze Star Accommodation to piece the puzzle together.

Thank you in advance for your time.

PFC William E Dallmann Patrol Report 454-69 Hill 200

Jason,

I'll finish your father's webpage today and upload it by noon. I have added five Patrol Reports to the 1st Recon Battalion Association website that your father was on in 1969. I'll copy this email to our members that were on the patrols and may have been on other patrols with your father in 1969 and 1970. Hopefully we will get some response from them and possibly some stories and photos. I'll add all responses to your father's webpage from time to time. If you have anything you might want to add about his life just send it to me. Take care and stay safe.   This is the link to the webpage: Click Here
