LCpl Southall 16th Patrol 98 hours with no sighting or contact. Worked with Corporal Grover W Peavy on their first Patrol together.

Members of Lance corporal Jim Southall's 10th patrol were:

Cpl Jimmy Linn, this is the fourth time they worked together on patrols. These are the patrols they worked together on: patrols 14-18 & 21-25. Cpl Linn is one of the best patrol leaders Jim Southall worked with in the 1st Recon Battalion in Vietnam.

Corporal Grover W Peavy,  this is the second time they worked together on patrol before the rescue mission on hill 200 June 3rd, 1968. This event on Hill 200 will alter and change Cpl Peavy life forever. This is the 1st time Cpl Peavy worked with these team members except Jim Southall they worked together on Jim's 13 patrol in April of 68 in Elephant Valley.

PFC Doug Wolfe, this is the fifth time they worked together on patrol. These are the patrols they worked together on: patrols 13-19 & 24-27. Cpl Jim Southall will eventually be WIA on his 28 patrol in September of 1968 and returns to the Battalion in February of 1969.

PFC Jerry Keker, will appear on 13th patrol reports with Jim Southall in 1968.

Corpsman Michael Dimion, worked with Jim Southall on eight patrols #11-18. Mike was with Bravo Company from Feb. 68 - Dec. 68  Team: Blue Spruce

PFC Delbert Enos, worked with Jim on 15 patrols in 1968. Patrols 10-19, 21-23 & 25-27 in 1968.

PFC Nelson Livington, worked with Jim Southall on 13 patrols in 1968.

LCpl Dorriety,  worked with Jim Southall on ten patrols in 1st Recon Battalion. Patrols 15-17, 19, 21-24 & 26-27 in 1968.
