Message from the Presiden

1st Reconnaissance Battalion Association Marines and Corpsmen,

You survived Vietnam, the Gulf War, Somalia, the War on Terror, Afghanistan and Iraq.We are in a new war with a vicious, hidden enemy-COVID-19, the Coronavirus.

Protect yourself, your family, your friends and neighbors. Minimize your vulnerability to
the COVID-19. Go online and read, understand and follow Federal and State COVID-
19 guidiance. As a minimum, follow these basic protective measures:

        * Self-Quarantine . Stay at home as much as possible. Shop only for necessities.
Consider using businesses that provide home delivery or takeout meals,
         groceries and other necessities.

         * Social Distancing . Avoid crowds & try to keep a minimum distance of 6 feet from
others. Stay away from others showing COVID-19 symptoms. Protect those
around by covering your mouth and nose if you sneeze.

         * Personal Protection . Wear protective gloves whenever possible & wash your
hands vigorously with an antibacterial soap. Be cautious handling items
delivered to your home. Don’t open packages immediately or sanitize them with
         Clorox.

         * Contact . Check on friends and neighbors, especially seniors and those isolated
and living alone. Help them with shopping and household chores where and
         when you can.

We are all in this together. Take care of yourself and your loved ones. We can defeat
COVID-19 if we work together – “Gung Ho”!

Semper fidelis,
Charlie Kershaw
