"It is with a heavy heart that I must share the sad news of the passing of a great man and brother Marine, Charles Bauer or simply "pappy" pappy died this week after battling Parkinson's & dementia services are pending.

It is with deep sadness that I report the news of the death of Charles Bauer "Pappy". He will be greatly missed by his family & friends.  We give thanks for Pappy's life.

Go in peace and remember you are not forgotten while I am still on patrol.

Mr. Bauer was born in New York, NY. There will be a viewing on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Kammon Funeral Home from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am Friday, February 2, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Kammon Funeral Home and burial will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Bauer is survived by his sister, Audrey Petramale of Coxsackie, NY and nephews, Bruce and Michael Petramale of Athens, NY and a niece, Nancy Petramale of Saugertries, NY. Sister, Helena Plok, Phoenix, AZ, numerous nieces and nephews of Yuma, AZ, daughter, Roberta L. Hillman and Husband R.S. Hillman of MS and son, Charles F. Bauer Jr., grandchildren, Elizabeth Stedman, Jordan Penney, William Penney and great grandchildren, Jayden, Lucas, Bella, Kasandra of MS, nephews, Jason Stark and Timothy Stark of Phoenix, AZ.

Pallbearers will be Robert S. Hillman, Rick Pierson, Jason Stark and Angel Herrdia.

Hi Mr Floyd thank you so much sir for sending me the news link on my daddy known as Pappy thank you again . today was a very special day for y'all and me being a proud Marine Corp daughter I am and a Proud Army wife as well . today I wore my daddy dog tags and his red jacket that he loved .I know from where he is he was smiling down on me and very proud of me .his stories and memories will last a lifetime.thank you again
